Delete Your Account & Data

You can delete your Speakfect account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open the Speakfect app on your device.
2. Sign in if you are not already signed in.
3. Go to Profile → Account → Delete account.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account is removed immediately. The data described below is deleted or anonymized within 30 days.

Option 2: Email us

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from the email address associated with your Speakfect account to privacy@speakfect.ai with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (email, display name, profession, age range).
• All audio and video recordings stored on our servers.
• All transcripts and AI-generated coaching feedback.
• Coach Chat history, drill scores, and Mock Q&A evaluations.
• Session metadata, streaks, progress charts, and goal plans.
• Crash and diagnostic reports linked to your user ID.
• Your authentication record at our identity provider (Clerk) and your entitlement record at our subscription orchestrator (RevenueCat).

What we may retain

We may retain a limited set of records where we are required to do so by law — for example, billing and tax records related to past subscription purchases. These records are kept only for the period required by applicable law and are not used for any other purpose.

Local data on your device

Raw recordings, cached session data, and local preferences stored on your device are removed when you uninstall the app. You can also clear them at any time from Profile → Preferences → Auto-Cleanup.
