Good morning, everyone. Thank you for being here today. I want to talk about something that affects all of us — how we communicate under pressure. So my invitation to you today is simple: go home, find a quiet room, and read your words aloud. Not in your head — aloud. Because the gap between how we sound in our imagination and how we sound in a room is where every great speaker does their work.

Why read-aloud practice beats silent rehearsal

Reading a speech in your head is roughly twice as fast as saying it out loud — which means silent rehearsal systematically under-prepares you.
